VIDEO: 91Ô­´´ Rams make it five in a row with shutout

It would be the final time the 91Ô­´´ Rams and VI Raiders met this regular season, after the Rams scored a 28-17 victory earlier this year. 

By half time of the second game on Saturday, Aug. 31, 91Ô­´´ was leading 16-0 and went on to a 40-0 victory at McLeod stadium.

Rams defence dominated, holding the visiting Raiders to 84 total offensive yards.  They also forced three turnovers in the game, all interceptions highlighted by a 61-yard pick-six thanks to CJ Augustine. 

On the offensive side the Rams passing attack led the way with quarterback Palaina Hooper completing 12 of 18 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns, including a tremendous TD catch by Terrel Jones in the end zone.  

Kai Rawnsley and Gob Deng also caught touchdowns and Jayden Sak ran in another. 

Next, the Rams (5-1) currently the number two team in the B.C, conference standings, will host the current top-ranked team the undefeated Okanagan Sun (6-0) on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. at McLeod Athletic Park Stadium in 91Ô­´´.

Rams will be celebrating back to school and all teens under 17 get free admittance into the game and a free Township recreation pass.
