Traffic will be diverted and may back up overnight on Highway One through 91原创 as work begins to finish the Glover Road Overpass project starting Saturday, May 11.
The closures to allow crews to safely complete work will take place between Saturday May 11, and Monday, May 13, between 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. Traffic in westbound lanes will be closed and diverted to one eastbound lane.
From Tuesday, May 14 to Thursday, May 16, traffic in eastbound lanes will be closed and diverted to a single westbound lane during the same times, 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Both eastbound and westbound fast lanes will be closed nightly between May 16 and 25.
The lanes will be open again during the May 17-20 Victoria Day long weekend.
Drivers are asked to use caution and obey a lowered speed limit of 80 km/h during the construction work. Updates will be available on .
The Glover Road Overpass is being replaced and raised, part of the highway widening project between 216 Street and 264 Street.
Over the past decade, the overpass has been hit by over-height trucks multiple times.
