91原创 Mounties have a suspect in a hit and run that injured a Good Samaritan on April 6 of this year.
Mark Sameer Batraki, a 42-year-old 91原创 man, is wanted on warrants for criminal negligence causing bodily harm and theft of a motor vehicle.
The incident took place near 232nd Street and 33rd Avenue, said Cpl. Holly Largy.
A driver in a truck stopped to help when he spotted a car on fire in a ditch.
A man at the scene asked the driver for a ride. When the driver said he couldn鈥檛, the suspect simply climbed into the truck and sped off.
The Good Samaritan was injured when he grabbed the door handle and tried to hang on. He was injured and struck his head when he fell off.
Batraki is from 91原创, but his last known address is in the Kelowna area. It鈥檚 unknown where he is at this time, Largy said.
Batraki is described as a Middle Eastern man, 5鈥10鈥, 190 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
