A clean sweep in mixed doubles action in the fifth draw has given Team World a 24-point lead nearly midway through the .
Team World won all three mixed doubles matches to take all 18 available points during Friday's second draw.
Heading into the draw, Team World held a narrow 39-33 advantage.
Torger Nergrd and Bingyu Wang teamed up to beat Craig Savill and Patti Lank 5-4, while Fredkrik Lindberg and Eve Muirhead held off Ben Hebert and Stefanie Lawton 8-7.
The third match was 7-5 in favour of Greg Drummond and Anna Sloan, as they held off Joe Polo and Amber Holland.
