91Ô­´´ School District is going in the right direction to comply with an action plan to get rid of its accumulated deficit. It needs to do so a little more quickly.

I have a problem with adding two cents more to the TransLink gas tax, primarily because it is so unfair to people in 91Ô­´´ and other areas where transit service is pitiful. People who live here have to buy a lot of gas, simply because they have to drive everywhere.

I hope we can continue the conversation, which Student Vote started, so that we may encourage and demonstrate to our youth the value of participation in democracy.

There should be no more tax increases on gas.

A request to candidates for Township council — would all of you who are stepping up as candidates for a place on 91Ô­´´ Township council let us know how to get in touch with you?

It is very unfair to toll only two bridges without tolling all bridges, tunnels and crossings in the Metro Vancouver area.

I would like to correct some misinformation in Councillor Kim Richter's letter (The Times, Sept. 20) about the motion to name the new 200 Street pedestrian bridge the "Cole Harmony Bridge."

Even deciding who to give thanks to has become a challenge.
