Editor: Holy dynamite Batman, I think they actually tried using some Halloween night. The house shook, windows rattled, the dog nearly had cardiac arrest.
So much for having laws which prevent fireworks. The night鈥檚 events indicate we can finally erase 鈥渃ommon sense鈥 from the English language.
Really, if we can鈥檛 even keep the smallest of laws, I think society has failed miserably. I cannot wrap my brain around the enjoyment of listening to ridiculous explosions and scaring animals to death. I would like to see some of these barbarians charged with animal cruelty, because it is.
Some people even think this is some sort of rite of passage to manhood. Some have the nerve to start using fireworks at the end of September.
Manhood is when you respect the rights of others. I surmise it is far from over yet, as I鈥檓 sure these people have an endless supply of shock and awe. All I can say is, 鈥渘o thanks鈥 for another wasted evening, listening to my world exploding all around me.
