Editor: Every time I read a letter in this newspaper from Linda Nash, I shake my head.

She is one of the most vocal and active members of the group that oppose the 216 interchange. Her letters should come with a disclaimer to that effect.

Ms. Nash鈥檚 letter of June 28 claiming there was no bullying of Township staff is so self-serving, I really have to question the integrity of whoever decided to publish it.

I wasn鈥檛 at that meeting, but I did witness bullying and berating of Township staff at an earlier meeting at Alex Hope.

I personally have had one of her pals call me an idiot because my son goes to Topham, but I refused to sign her petition.

Just like the Township staff, I obviously wasn鈥檛 listening because I didn鈥檛 agree.

Ms. Nash鈥檚 most recent letter of July 28 seeks to garner support for her little fellowship by raising the spectre of land being removed from the ALR.

No evidence or insights, just more fear. Give her credit, though, she never gives up.

I鈥檝e listened to this group on multiple occasions and, frankly, I had a lot more respect for them when they were complaining about the negative impact the interchange would have on the value of there homes.

Looking at where they lived, I understood their point of view and had some sympathy for them. But claims about pollution or concerns about the safety of the students at Topham or Ecole des Voyageurs ring hollow to me.

I encourage everyone to do their own research just as I have.

Look at the old Township plans and truck routes.

Whether you eventually decide the interchange is a good idea or not, make up your own mind and don鈥檛 give in to the fear mongering.
