Dear Editor,

I’m an ambassador with MS Canada (formerly know as MS Society) and I’m showing support for the 90,000 Canadians that live with the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.

May is MS awareness for MS Canada. In May each year, cities, towns and villages will be declaring May as MS Awareness Month, by signing proclamations or declarations.

And Coast to Coast to Coast MS Canada flags will be flying.

As well, May30 is World MS Day, where landmarks, bridges, buildings and monuments world wide will be lit up in red to show global support and hope for the future.

Last year on World MS Day, here is 91Ô´´ we had the pedestrian overpass on 200 Street illuminated in red, as was the White Rock Pier and many places in and around the area.

This year there will be much more lit up in red on that date.

And the Township of 91Ô´´ has declared its support for MS awareness.

And Coast to Coast to Coast there will be MS Canada flags a-flying!

Patricia Wilson, 91Ô´´
