Ahoy, matey – lost boat slows 91ԭ’s rush hour commute

Trailer hitch may have broken, leaving boat blocking Glover Road Tuesday afternoon

Glover Road traffic was impacted Tuesday afternoon after a boat on a trailer became unhitched from the vehicle hauling it.

Police are on scene dealing with the errant watercraft on Glover Road at Crush Crescent.

“It looks like the trailer came apart from the hitch, possibly a broken hitch,” said 91ԭ RCMP Cpl. Craig van Herk.

There were no injuries and no other vehicles involved, he said.
