Theatre presents Yaga

The curtain went up on Feb. 13 for the second show of the season for 91原创 Little Theatre.

鈥淵aga,鈥 a play was created by Kat Sandler, is described as a part thriller, part comedy, part nightmare fairy-tale.

The local rendition is being directed by Jacq Ainsworth, a familiar face around the Brookswood playhouse.

鈥淚 have always chosen to work on shows that have feminist values. What excites me most about 鈥榊aga,鈥 is that the main characters inhabit a world where feminism just seems to be a given,鈥 she shared.

鈥淚 am so glad these actors have trusted me to direct us through this mysterious, dark, funny storytelling adventure,鈥 Ainsworth said.

Yaga runs until March 1, Thursdays through Saturdays, at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 and available online through g.
