Western Canada's first location opened in 91原创 on Tuesday (Dec. 3). 

The menu of the Ontario-based chain is focused on burritos, quesadillas, tacos and loaded waffle fries, combining "traditional cooking methods and unique toppings with healthy and fresh ingredients."

"Handcrafting" of menu items is a promise, with proteins prepared fresh and cooked in-store. Guacamole is made with Mexican-grown avocados and comes free with all burritos and bowls. Desserts include deep-friend Mars bar and cheesecake burrito.

Launched in Toronto in 2010, Fat Bastard has more than 90 restaurants in Ontario, Newfoundland, and now B.C. with the arrival of the 91原创 location ., with more to come in Abbotsford, Mission, and possibly Surrey.

Part of MBI Brands alongside Mary Brown's Chicken, Fat Bastard adds to the growing number of burrito eateries in Metro Vancouver, where such quick-service chains include Mucho Burrito, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Quesada Burritos & Tacos, and Taco del Mar.
