The Township of 91原创鈥檚 free Summer Festival Series returns to the Willoughby Community Park Amphitheatre on Thursday, Aug. 16, with a performance by Flint and Feather.

The husband and wife duo from Calgary will take the stage at 7 p.m., with a performance that blends storytelling with songwriting to create charming 鈥楻ocky Mountain Folk-Pop鈥 songs inspired by Canadian history, Rocky Mountain folklore, and their own personal journeys.

Lauren and Joal Kamps鈥 original songs are filled with vivid imagery accented by delicate harmonies and their honest and engaging approach to performing connects with listeners of all ages and backgrounds.

Finalists in the Prophets of Music鈥檚 2018 Emerging Artist Program, the couple has been busy this year recording singles with Juno Award-winning producer/musician Russell Broom of Jann Arden, Ian Tyson, and Sam Roberts fame.

They recently attended the 2018 Hornby Island School for Emerging Artists this summer during their four-week tour of western Canada which includes a stop in 91原创.

In the fall, Joal will attend the Banff Centre鈥檚 Early Fall Musicians in Residence Program, where Flint & Feather will record their debut EP.
