The 91原创 Advance Times has started a new photo feature that spotlights items from the past that are no longer used, and tests your skills at identifying them.
So have a look at the photo and see if you know what are. Then check the descriptions.
Mike Prangnell, a director with the B.C. Farm Museum in Fort 91原创, helped us with the hunt for a few unique items from bygone days, that could be challenging to name.

Item 1
The round wooden object with carved flowers and leaves is a butter mold.

Item 2
The shell-shaped object is a cream skimmer. The cream stays on the skimmer while the milk drains out the bottom when separating the components of milk straight from the cow.

Item 3
The round green item is a dough cutter. It provided uniform pieces of dough for buns and donuts.

Item 4
This item is a calf weaner. Today these devices are made of plastic but about a century ago, they had a metal nose clip and spikes that prevented the calf from nursing on the cow.

Item 5
One of the items, a 19.5 inch square box with many dowels and metal bracks on the corners, even has the farm museum folks stumped. If anyone knows what it is, don鈥檛 hestitate to contact the newspaper or museum.
