Happy Birthday, 91原创: B.C. Farm Museum, 9131 King St., hosting celebration of 91原创鈥檚 150th birthday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26. Admission by donation. Nikomekl flood plain clean-up: Join the 91原创 Environmental Partners Society (LEPS) for a work bee from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, to clean the trails along the flood plain in 91原创 City. LEPS provides grabber tools, bags and gloves. RSVP: habitat@leps.bc.ca.

Fork and Finger: Downtown 91原创 Business Association food festival allows people to buy $5 or $10 sampler plates from at least 20 eateries between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26. McBurney Plaza is the site for cooking demonstrations and passport pickup. Get at least three stamps on the passport and enter draws. Live entertainment from noon to 2 p.m.

Alder Groove and Grub Festival: Event for 19 and older is 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26 at the Aldergrove Plaza, and benefits the Aldergrove Food Bank and Starfish Backpack program. Enjoy live entertainment, including a Tina Turner tribute show, a dance floor, a beer garden, and food trucks. Bring a lawn chair and blanket for comfort.

Overdose Awareness Day: Public invited to Douglas Park Spirit Square, 20550 Douglas Cres., to learn about overdose prevention on Aug. 31. 91原创 Overdose Response Community Action Team offers up a community barbecue and resource fair starting at 5 p.m., a welcome and awareness walk at 6 p.m., speakers stories, dance, drumming, live music, and more starting at 7 p.m., and a memorial and candlelight vigil at 8 p.m.

Summer Carnival: St. George鈥檚 Coptic Church invites public to a day of fun Saturday, Sept. 2, at 8870 Glover Rd. (Fort 91原创 Community Church). From 1 to 6 p.m., there an Egyptian bazaar, pinatas, a monster foam party, a garage sale, and Mediterranean food.

Repair Cafe: Volunteers with various skills needed for 91原创 Environmental Partners Society repair cafes, including bike repair, electronics, sewing/clothing, household goods, appliances, toys, and more.
