Jim鈥檚 Pizza was a staple in Fort 91原创 鈥 the go-to pizzeria for 32 years.

But maybe you noticed the windows of the Glover Road restaurant had been boarded up and wonder what happened.

After three decades of making, baking and serving pizzas, Jim鈥檚 Pizza was forced to move. But fear not, pizza lovers.

The family-run eatery has found a new home in Walnut Grove and opened a couple weeks ago.

Owners Allan and Emma Weslowsky said they wanted to stay in Fort 91原创 but the landlord had other plans for the property, so they secured their new location and are excited about their future in Walnut Grove.

鈥淜nowing the building was eventually coming down, we spent five years searching Fort 91原创 for a suitable space but unfortunately nothing was available,鈥 said Emma.

鈥淯nfortunately this meant that after 32 years, Jim鈥檚 Pizza Fort 91原创 had to leave.鈥

They loved being in Fort 91原创 and had many loyal customers, some of whom have been eating their pizzas for 20 years. The village residents became good friends.

Despite missing their regular walk-ins, the couple is making new friends at their new location at #10 20349 88 Ave.

Jim鈥檚 Pizza opened up in its new location three weeks ago with pizzas flying out the door even on the first night, they said.

鈥淪ame great staff, same great pizza, just new location,鈥 the Weslowskys said. Even the phone number stayed the same.

They are located in the same shopping centre as the RBC on 88 Avenue.

Already loyal customers have been flocking to the new location to make sure the pizza tastes the same as it always has.

Positive reviews are being posted on Jim鈥檚 Pizza鈥檚 Facebook page.

鈥淵ou guys have the best pizza, no other place even comes close,鈥 wrote one customer.

Another customer wrote, 鈥淢y pizza last night was every bit as awesome as ever.鈥

Customers in Fort 91原创 can still have their pizza delivered, said Emma.

鈥淲e really want to thank our customers and staff for their amazing support. It feels great to be back,鈥 said Allan.
