All 3 stars of the game were Giants, including netminder Burke Hood, after Vancouver downed the Cougars 7-2 at LEC on Monday afternoon.

All three stars of the game were Vancouver Giants players after the G-men downed Prince George Cougars 7-2 before 4,405 at the 91Ô´´ Events Centre Monday afternoon.

First star was Tyus Sparks, who got two goals, second was netminder Burke Hood who stopped 32 of 34 shots, and third star went to Adam Titlbach, who scored twice as well.

It was a game that saw the Giants leading 3-0 before the Cougars finally got one on the scoreboard, late in the second period.

If there was such a thing as fourth star, it would likely have gone to Connor Levis, who  also had two goals.

Mazden Leslie scored once, early in the third period.

Giants were looking to build off a big win on Saturday night when they took down the B.C. Division leading Victoria Royals 4-3 in a shootout.

Next, Vancouver goes on the road to play  Kelowna Friday, Feb 21, then hosts them the next day at the LEC. Puck drop is 7 p.m.
