Vancouver FC have now gone 10 straight matches, dating back to last season, without a victory.

Their latest loss happened Sunday on home field in 91原创, with Atl茅tico Ottawa earning their first victory of the season in a dominant 4-1 takedown.

The lone VFC goal came from Terran Campbell, his first for the Eagles.

The man who set Campbell up, Elage Bah had a good game. Aside from the assist, he completed six of eight attempted dribbles, and won 11 of 17 duels contested, as well as four fouls.

Atl茅tico Ottawa's David Rodr铆guez  scored the opener in the 20th minute, before setting up Kevin Dos Santos in the 37th.

Ballou Tabla and Monty Patterson also scored for Atletii.

Vancouver FC head coach Afshin Ghotbi was not happy, calling three of the Ottawa goals 鈥渢errible mistakes鈥� on the part of VFC.

"It鈥檚 going to take me a few days to recover from this, but I have to show a very positive face and move on,鈥� commented Ghotbi.

It could have been a lot worse for Vancouver if it wasn鈥檛 for Callum Irving, who made seven saves. He has stopped 15 through two matches, five more than any other keeper in the CPL.

Irving wasn't completely error-free on Sunday, however, when he tried to cut out a long ball in the 42nd minute, and sliced his clearance. The ball dropped right into the path of Ballou Tabla with an open goal.

Next, Vancouver heads on the road for the first time this season as they travel to Calgary to take on CPL champs Cavalry FC on Friday, April 18 at 4 p.m.

Their next home game will see the Eagles host Pacific FC at Willoughby Community Park on Saturday, April 26 at 5 p.m.
