And it looked like the game was heading for overtime. But Brandon Morley 鈥� who also scored in the first for Surrey 鈥� scored the winner with 66 seconds to go. Brandon Tanev added an empty-net goal.
The 91原创 also faced Surrey to start their busy stretch of five games in seven days, going into the South Surrey Arena and posting a on Feb. 22.
But that was followed by a 3-2 loss to the Victoria Grizzlies on Feb. 23 and a 4-0 defeat to the Cowichan Valley Capitals the next night.
The 91原创 did manage a single point on Sunday (Feb. 24) when they lost at the LEC 4-3 in overtime to the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
Against the Grizzlies, Victoria's Cam Lawson scored the winner on a power play with 5:07 remaining in a 3-3 tie.
Jackson Playfair, Austin Plevy and Derek Sutliffe combined for two goals and six points while Bren Greiner had the other 91原创 goal.
Greiner and Puskarich put 91原创 ahead 2-0 against Alberni Valley, while Darnell Dyck had the other goal.
