Robert Gaw has submitted photos of several signs around 91Ô´´ Township that he says add to the visual pollution of the community and wants the municipality to do something about it.

Dear Editor,

Good morning Township bylaw office staff. I trust you are doing well.

I again would like to address the visual pollution that plagues the Township of 91Ô´´ (ToL). I have made several enquiries of the last number of years, and as taxpayers in the ToL, my wife and I are tired of living in our polluted community both visually and with garbage left by developers and business people.

Signs from every possible source are littered at every corner, along roadsides and placed by people that do not have permits to erect sign(s). Please reference the PDF I have attached clearly showing the blatant disregard by businesses in my, our community.

Most of these businesses do not reside in the ToL, yet they are allowed to erect signs and leave them up for years until they are so old they are falling down from old age.

Taxpayers deserve better than this. We should not be subjected to business taking advantage of our community, and we are owed the service from the ToL to monitor this problem and take action against these abusers.

I have family in Arizona, and live in Phoenix and Scottsdale part time, and the municipalities do not permit anyone get away with this type of abuse. When will the ToL recognize that the Township is getting very populated and letting everyone just place signs where they want, when they want must come to an end.

I would be more than happy to come by your office to discuss this, and provide more details on locations for the issue.

Rob Gaw, Willoughby
