To the United Nations and politicians,

North America has become a disgusting, inhumane part of the world’s so called humanity. Homelessness is rampant throughout United States and Canada, and poverty is at the door knocking because of runaway inflation. It doesn’t discriminate against age nor whom it falls upon.

My god it is truly disgusting and disgraceful how municipalities and politicians are dealing with the social needs of everyone out there when you read the numbers of homeless people there are throughout the major cities on each side of the border. North America has become a homeless camp and a Third World country that borders on incompetence and neglect toward itself and the citizens that live there.

We call ourselves a civilized nation then I see how people are being treated on both sides of the border as if human life has very little value. Governments on all levels are a disgrace! I can see these politicians grimacing in reaction to those words, but grimace as you may there are millions of people on both sides of the border watching what you are not doing to tackle homelessness and poverty, and for that matter the world has you under a microscope.

Literally thousands of people are homeless and are in desperation, and literally thousands are lining up at food banks and are not getting proper medical care because there are shortages of doctors and nurses, and medical staff at hospitals. The world has become a lineup.

Well, you so called politicians what are you going to do in this Third World that has been created! Debate, hold an election, sit on your fannies and continue on your course of doing very little or nothing?

Disgraceful behaviour, disgusting reactions, disgusting conduct towards fellow citizens.

Yes, this is a letter to you and you and your buddies next to you and to the whole world out there. Get up onto your feet and put away your mask, put away your politics, and put away the most harmful act you are doing toward your fellow man and womankind by doing nothing.

That’s right. Cocktail hour is over, and the hour has come and the bell has been rang. It is pass time to act and to curtail your negative reactions toward homeless people by shuffling them around from one area to the next. People need stability and a roof over their heads, man, woman and child.

Crucial, credible, objective thinking needs to take place with solutions that will ensure the success of housing the homeless, of feeding the hungry and the vulnerable. Food banks are the band-aid but not the solution. Poverty is man made and fills the street with people who are without, and fills a country and communities who become in need of help.

A letter that is written, a goal that must be obtained and acted upon, and an ending that North America needs. What will governments on all levels do? What will politicians do? What will be the consequences and outcome if they do nothing? What will be the repercussions if they do very little? Here right now is the answer. Here right now is what our countries are going to be defined as either Third World or a humane society where you, I and our neighbours are an alumni who graduated into the ranks of humankind.
