Editor: It is so good to live in a community which supports local causes.

My school, Credo Christian High School, is putting on a major musical production, and sought support in the community. We were happy to receive a number of sponsorships in the form of funds and materials.

One local firm that went way above and beyond in support of our efforts is Caliber Projects. Not only did they support our efforts with a sponsorship, one of their principals actually spent time with our student designers and builders, ensuring that the design was safe, and effective. His expertise was invaluable as our construction team took an idea and ran with it.

Caliber is to be commended for their commitment to this community event. It鈥檚 easy to write a cheque; it is much more telling when professional time and energy are offered. It speaks to a certain ethic which is what community is all about.
