Dear Editor,
Centuries old in a new election,
鈥淓lection promises are the past promises that never became fulfilled with new ones in overtime.鈥
The political parties who have promised to bring a better life is the the same message we鈥檝e heard throughout our history, but, is it truly plausible for them to fulfill their obligations because of the differences between us and them 鈥 them being of three different entities 鈥 one for themselves and the other to this nation, the other being what lies beneath them not seen or conveyed to us and hidden in their unspoken minds.
We all seek the streets that lead to affordability and as a nation we need to build trust, the sacred dialogue given in a speech or within political parties鈥 policy given to the people across this nation not only at election time but throughout their mandate. Political posturing with biased possibilities are common, but then, maybe, that is what we have become use to. Hope, with a chance to make better choices and decisions about this country and our future is what we need from our candidates and from any government. Hope but with success.
Campaigns at election time are one more example of channelling the scheduled listings of daytime drama where you can turn on the television, radio or a podcast or to fully participate in a campaign rally where you can either turn up the tension of your conviction, and loudly voice your support or walk away from the event altogether to switch it off.
The country now face鈥檚 another threat due to our neighbour south of our border? We have been told to prepare for more rising costs to inflation and to our way of life because the president of United States through tariffs is willing to break Canada鈥檚 back economically. A new election is postmarked with the same outcome in instability if the government does not address the rising costs to the public in this country and to stabilize the economy.
More unknown costs are coming to our personal lives, and a loss to our financial security and future.
The government of Canada needs to address the past economic instability with a new vigorous economic development because now we have the future that must allow use to have the capacity and capability for us to stand on our own two feet with the terms we yet must conceive.
The future is not only what lies ahead of us but also what follows us through our journey.
There will be many promises in an election that are elevated to our personal demands and to our country鈥檚 future, but, will they fulfill our previous commitments and exceed the present and future demands of forty-one million Canadians?
Canadians need to take responsibility at the ballot box, we are in a wartime scenario with our future which lies not in shell shocked trenches, but in a campaign for our lives throughout this land, we need to be in solidarity with our country and with our government, so there lies us in the same trenches 鈥 so listen carefully Canada, our battle cries our for the people of Canada and for this nation, it is government鈥檚 duty that is called upon to defend, protect and fight for this nation.
Our newly elected representatives need to fulfill their obligations of not just the past, the present and the countries鈥 futuristic endeavours yet to be revealed, but, also the integrity of this nation by protecting the future of Canada and all the Canadians who call this their homeland and country.
Affordability, housing and the environment, and expanded commerce are some of the main challenges and concerns of every man, woman and young adult in this country. The challenge is not only what faces us today but how we will address our future yet to emerge.
The election that takes place now in Canada will be decided and it needs to be precise and decisive on how to address the crisis in this country and how we will protect our borders from an aggressive neighbour who believes Canada should become the 51st state of United States.
United States has become an atmosphere of uncertainty, and with its leadership and rhetoric it has become an increasingly unpredictable and an unpopular country to be bordered next to.
The platforms of every political party will address their political beliefs and their ideology as it does in every election, but the campaign must be Canada first, and the Canadian failings of the past must be brought forward to the political process and must be readdressed, and the elected representatives must be fully prepared to take the necessary actions to bring their past promises to fruition if it鈥檚 to benefit this country.
Whether in English or in French or in Native languages the ballot is our only choice to cross this country with our voices with what we as nation want brought forward and for our government to abide by their commitments to this country and to us.
This country needs a better outcome than what was promised by all governments throughout our history where their policies and promises were never fulfilled or successfully delivered, implemented or forthcoming to fruition.
鈥淥ur country is a promise to the people.鈥
The fundamental problem is not the promise made, it is if it is made without integrity and honesty .The government no matter whom they may be is a birth certificate of citizenship. They will have to prove and pay their way through their course of duties by their own evidence on how they conduct themselves in the public eye and for how well they protect this country and the people who live within it. We, as Canadians, are the people who are the custom officers checking their passports for the right to entry, to stand in the house of our nation where they are obliged to represent us. We are their citizens鈥 agent with the stamp of approval. We will be their renewal or their de-certification of their standing.
When one runs into the path of a hurricane our shelter that we will seek is in what we built to keep us safe and protected from economic collapses and from futuristic storms that come hurtling toward us from our neighbours or from any other source.
The collective ability of us is our mobility to move quickly to address, fulfill and outperform any adverse event that might arise. To be prepared and be able to anticipate something that hasn鈥檛 occurred yet but may well happen. This country needs to be enabled, to outperform, outsource and adapt, and maintain the countries system鈥檚 capabilities at a performance level not yet conceived. We need to conceive the future.
Governments are the replication of who we are as of today, tomorrow and then the next day in time we have yet to see. All governments are the future, and if they are not, then they become the past.
