First off, I would like to thank the editor of 91原创 Advance Times for publishing Richard Penner鈥檚 letter to the editor Thursday, June 15. I don鈥檛 always read these letters, but this one caught my eye.

Without that letter and reading it, I would have never known of this upcoming bylaw change that needs 10 per cent (2,207) of the estimated number of electors of the City of 91原创 to sign and submit their opinion.

I also do not read all the 91原创 City news and events ads. For one thing the paper is not delivered to [my townhome]. We have to pick it up by chance鈥� and I am sure not every resident goes out of their way to pick up the local paper.

How do you think this is not sneaky? 91原创 Advance Times is not delivered to every resident/elector of 91原创 City.

Why wasn鈥檛 the 鈥渇orm鈥� mailed to every resident/elector of 91原创 City?

Why do we have to pick up the form, considering the offices are only open Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 p.m. when most people are at work? So, this is not very convenient for residents/electors to pick up the form. I hope the City seriously reviews how it proceeds with this bylaw and future changes to bylaws.
