Editor: Who are the people that brought about this new order of deliberately leaving out the word Christmas when it comes to that time of the year?

Christmas is Christmas, and will always be Christmas, as long as there is Christianity. It is really offensive to people of other religions 鈥� many love to celebrate Christmas 鈥� as well as our own religious ceremonies. People of other religions are also not being pressured or brainwashed into calling their specific religious observances by any other name.

As long as there exist Christmas carols, oratorios, church hymns etc., there will always be (almost forbidden) Christmas.

I want to know who these people are who make this decision and act on it, to brainwash everyone into saying 鈥淗appy Holidays,鈥� because 鈥� never mind about offending non-Christians 鈥� Christmas is a worldwide celebration and these highly-influential people with their 鈥淗appy Holidays鈥� are offending me, and any other fellow Christian, practising and non-practising. I would like to see this nonsense eradicated once and for all.

I am also informed that this new trend is only here in North America. Over in Europe, they keep to the traditional, tried and true 鈥淢erry Christmas鈥� or 鈥淗appy Christmas.鈥�

Having said that, I would like to wish a Merry Christmas to one and all.
