Editor: Intestinal fortitude or guts, as I prefer to call it, was evidenced in Friday鈥檚 Times. The lead story entitled 鈥楢 cautionary tale鈥� told the story of courageous John Westhaver鈥檚 talk to 600 students about the dangers of driving when drunk or pre occupied. His tale and gruesome disfiguration will, I am sure, resonate in the memories of those who attended.
Another gutsy move was evidenced on page 3, where The Times encouraged the residents of 91原创 to participate in the possible amalgamation of the two 鈥渄ouble the cost鈥� administrations that now govern us.
Accolades, as well, go to Diana Sampson for her wonderful letter and poem concerning the expenditure of our tax dollars.
