Federal government should pay for new bridge

I think that there should actually be no toll on the Port Mann Bridge.

Editor: While I applaud Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts鈥� that the toll on the new Port Mann Bridge (once it is completed) should be reduced to 75 cents from the planned $3 each way, I think that there should actually be no toll on the Port Mann Bridge.

That bridge is part of Highway 1, a national highway that crosses the entire country of Canada. It should be completely funded and maintained by the federal government, with no charge to the users.
