A crash on Hwy. 1 through 91原创 tied up traffic westbound just before the 264 St. exit Wednesday morning.

Just after 5:15 a.m. 91原创 RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision in the 27500-block of the highway.
 
Officers arrived and confirmed a collision had occurred in the west bound lanes involving a minivan and a flat deck construction truck.

Initial investigation determined the minivan had been travelling west on Hwy 1 and the flat deck was pulling out of an access point turning left intending to also travel west.

The minivan collided with the flat deck as the truck entered Hwy 1.  
 
The driver of the minivan was transported to area hospital by BC Emergency Health Services (BC EHS) with what were reported to be minor injuries.
 
Alcohol and or drugs are not believed to have been factors contributing to the collision.

Traffic was only getting by on the left shoulder, and was reportedly backed up to Mt. Lehman Road.

There was heavier-than-normal congestion on Fraser Hwy. as vehicles used the alternative route to avoid the accident scene.
