An elderly man sustained "minor" injuries after being struck by a vehicle in South Surrey Thursday night.
The man was hit on 24 Avenue and 161 Street in Surrey at about 4 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 19), according to Surrey Police. The man struck is 79 years old and was taken to hospital to be treated for a "minor" foot injury.
Police shared that the 29-year-old driver remained on scene and was cooperative. Impairment was not a cause for the incident, police confirmed.
