A brand-new, state-of-the-art operatory at means more availability for hygiene appointments, as well as the possibility of same-week appointments for both current and new patients.

"We're very excited to have officially opened our new operatory earlier this month. It has allowed us to offer patients more availability and flexibility in appointments, while also supporting the growing demand for hygienist services," says Dr. Robyn Papadimatos, who joined Dr. Grant Rawstron and Dr. Chen-Campbell at the clinic in November 2024.

When Dr. Papadimatos and Dr. Brad Watson took over Bedford Dental in November, they set out with a clear goal: to create a more inclusive and accessible practice for patients. Since then, they've extended clinic hours to include evenings and select Saturdays.

"Robyn and I are excited to build on Bedford Dental's strong reputation for exceptional care, while implementing key changes to better serve our patients," says Dr. Watson, who completed his dental studies in Australia before returning to Canada to practice. "We're committed to expanding our hours to include evenings and Saturdays, making it easier for working families and busy individuals to access care."

Bedford Dental is now open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Soon, patients will be able to book appointments on Saturdays and as late as 7 p.m. on select weekdays.

"Life is busy for everyone these days, and it's important that we help our patients maintain their oral health by offering more flexible and accessible appointment times," Dr. Papadimatos adds. "Our new operatory will also help us achieve this goal by creating more space for hygienist appointments."

In addition to regular check-ups and cleanings, Bedford Dental offers a range of specialty services, including Velscope exams (oral cancer screening), bridges, veneers, Invisalign and Botox services..
