Shooting Eagles are in sole possession of first place following the first four weeks of the Arena Lacrosse League West Division season.
Eagles were 16-10 winners over the Black Fish, improving to 3-1 while the Black Fish fell to 1-3. In the other week 4 game, the Sea Spray improved to 2-2 following their 9-6 win over the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies also sit at 2-2.
The teams were playing on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 3, at 91原创 Events Centre in Arena Lacrosse League West Division action.
Shooting Eagles 16 Black Fish 10
Coming off a rare loss 鈥� prior to last week, they had won nine consecutive regular season games dating back to last season 鈥� the Shooting Eagles had three players post seven-point games while a fourth finished with six in a convincing 16-10 win over the Black Fish.

Dylan Lacroix led the way with five goals, to go alongside his two assists, with Garret Winter (4-3) and Coady Adamson (2-5) matching him with seven points apiece. Spencer Bromley was right behind with a goal and five assists.
鈥淕uys were swinging the ball back and forth and no one was being selfish,鈥� Lacroix said. 鈥淭he ball was moving and it can be anybody鈥檚 night.鈥�
Sea Spray 9 Grizzlies 6
New team, new league and little familiarity with his teammates? No problem for Nate Faccin.
Making his Arena Lacrosse League debut, the goaltender delivered a 37-save performance as the Sea Spray won 9-6 over the Grizzlies in a defensive battle.
Currently a member of the National Lacrosse League鈥檚 Colorado Mammoth but with the team off this weekend, Faccin suited up for the Sea Spray on Sunday afternoon at 91原创 Events Centre, earning the game鈥檚 second star.
鈥淲hatever league, whatever level, you just have to go out and try and stop the ball,鈥� Faccin said. 鈥淭he defence kept the guys to the outside and didn鈥檛 let many skips through. They just let me see the ball.鈥�
