Aldergrove Kodiaks were bested in Wednesday night's game against the Surrey Knights 9-1.
Surrey's John Lopez nabbed the first goal of the night without assistance during a power play at 6:36.
Kaydin Halliday scored the second goal for Surrey with an assist from Brenden Kwan just two minutes later.
In the last half of first period, Surrey's Wendell Adriano took advantage of another power play and scored the team's third goal with assistance from Parkor Sarai and Kirit Sran.
Second period kicked off with a minor penalty for Aldergrove followed by Surrey's fourth goal during the power play by Sarai with an assist from Adriano.
Aldergrove put up a strong defense for the rest of the period until 15:12 when Sean Robins scored a fifth goal with assistance from Devyn Hayre and Lopez during a second power play.
Minor penalties were served by both teams.
During third period, Surrey started strong with a sixth goal by Brenden Kwan three minuted in with assistance from Sarai and Hayre.
Aldergrove's Beckham Angus scored the Kodiaks' first and only goal of the night at 5:37 with an assist from Dylan Garland.
Less than two mintues later, Surrey's Bronson Sales scored a seventh goal for the Knights without assistance.
At 9:38, Adriano scored again for the Knights with assistance from Sales and Sarai.
The Knights' Sran scored the ninth and final goal of the night at 14:44 with an assist from Noah Iacutone.
Kodiaks netminder Nick Mayne was kept busier than rival Marcus Taylor as the Knights outshot them 56-24.
The three stars of the game were Surrey Knights Adriano (first), Sarai (second), and Lopez (third).
Kodiaks remain seventh in the seven-team Harold Brittain Conference of the Pacific Junior Hockey League, while Knights are fifth.
