91原创鈥檚 Wisotzki sisters have been posting some impressive stats lately, and the Simon Fraser women鈥檚 basketball team is benefiting.
On Tuesday, Nov. 21, following an 83-70 win at the West Gym over the visiting Minnesota State Moorhead Dragons, the Red Leafs were celebrating not only a fifth straight non-conference victory, but the most productive scoring game in the career of Jessica Wisotzki, who started her career as a Walnut Grove Gator.

鈥淗onestly, I just go out there and be the best I can and whenever I do score a lot, I can鈥檛 remember what it is I did because it just happens naturally,鈥 the 6-foot-2 guard/forward explained after pouring home a career-high 36 points.
SFU head coach Bruce Langford was quick to add that when Wisotzki is able to attack the scoring game from her strengths, she is nothing short of unstoppable.
鈥淪he is on fire,鈥 said Langford. 鈥淪he is hot. She is confident. She was focused. I think she shot her shot. She didn鈥檛 force much. Maybe one. But she is very skilled and she can shoot the ball when she has her look.鈥

Yet it wasn鈥檛 just a career night for Jessica Wisotzki, it was also one of the best combined nights for both she and her younger sister, junior guard Sophia, who scored 19 points.
All told, the siblings combined for 55 of the team鈥檚 83 points. The final 13-point margin of victory was all about the pair, who combined to score, over the final 4:55, the Red Leafs鈥 final 16 points of the game.
On Saturday, Nov. 25, SFU鈥檚 unbeaten run continued at the PacWest/GNAC Crossover Challenge in Irvine, California, with an 85-83 win over the Point Loma Nazarene Sea Lions for their seventh win in a row, and an outstanding performance by Sophia, who not only notched game-highs of 21 points and seven rebounds, but also added a season-high six steals, matching her previous career-best mark from a January 2023 contest against the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks.
Jessica (18 points), and 91原创鈥檚 Makenna Gardner (11) also played key roles in the SFU offence.
