91原创鈥檚 own Vancouver Giants and Tri-City Americans each snagged two points this weekend in a double-header at the 91原创 Events Centre.

Saturday night in front of 3,146 fans, the Giants dropped a 4-3 decision to the visiting Americans.

That followed a 6-3 victory for the Giants against Tri-City on Friday night on the same sheet of ice.

In game one of the double-header, James Malm paced the Giants with four assists while Owen Hardy and Brayden Watts had two goals apiece.

David Tendeck earned his second win in a row in goal making 26 saves on 29 shots fired his way.

At the other end Isaac Johnson scored twice for Tri-City, accompanied by a single from Maxwell James.

Fast forward to Saturday night, and Detroit Red Wings prospect Michael Rasmussen had a goal and two assists for Tri-City, while Jordan Topping added a goal and an assist, Parker AuCoin scored unassisted, and Maxwell James extended Tri-City鈥檚 lead when he scored his third of the season.

For the Giants, rookie Cyle McNabb, Milos Roman, and Brendanc Semchuk put points on the board.

The G-Men鈥檚 rookie goaltender, Todd Scott, was 鈥渟tellar in goal, albeit a losing cause,鈥� said play-by-play broadcaster Dan O鈥機onnor.

The Americans outshot Vancouver 37-34 and improved their record to an even 3-3. Saturday鈥檚 win was their first away from home.

With the loss Saturday, the Giants record now sits at 2-3.

They finished their four-game home stand with an even 2-2 record and will now head to the road for seven straight games beginning Tuesday in Seattle against the Thunderbirds.
