Four 91原创 players have been selected for the that will represent the province at the week-long Brick Super Novice Invitational tournament in Edmonton in July, an event for top nine- and 10-year-old players that has seen more than 200 go on to play in the NHL since it was founded in 1990.
Roen Mensing and Ryker Dickson from Walnut Grove, Jack Moore from Fort 91原创, and Chase Rattray from Brookswood play in the Coquitlam-based High Performance Level (HPL) hockey development league.
Mensing is a goalie, Rattray plays defence, while Dickson and Moore are forwards. Rattray is a 2015-born player, while his 91原创 teammates are all older, born in 2014.
Over the next four months, the Jr. Canucks will practice and train, and participate in a number of exhibition games, showcases and tournaments in preparation for the Brick tournament.

BC Jr Canucks will be among the 225 top young players competing at the Edmonton Mallin the Brick Tournament, which features six round-robin games in two divisions.
Open to 10-year-old players from around the world, the tournament was founded in 1990, when there was no showcase for players that young, and Brick furniture chain co-founder of Bill Comrie wanted a platform for his oldest son.
played in the first Brick tournament, then went on to be drafted into the NHL in 1999, playing 589 NHL games, scoring 168 goals.
WHL sensation Connor Bedard, recently signed by the Chicago Blackhawks, has also played in the tournament, for B.C.
Other Brick Alumni to make the NHL include Steven Stamkos, Blake Wheeler, Austin Matthews and Mark Stone.
