The Aldergrove Fair is featuring old traditions and returning lost ones this weekend for its 112th annual weekend-long event.
Friday, July 19, saw the annual Show n' Shine car show at Aldergrove Community Secondary, with fair games, live music, and fast draw practice happening at the athletic park.
Saturday, the second day of the fair, held the famous tractor pull, fast draw competition, fully open kids zone, food trucks, live music, pony rides, dog agility shows, and more.
Vice president of the fair Amanda Smith called it "a good turn out."
"It's great to see the Aldergrove community to come out to support its own fair. With the amount of activity we have here, there's lots to do," she said.
With admission by donation, people can spend the whole afternoon at the fair, Smith added.
The evening started with a pie eating contest, where local members of the community competed to eat the most pie within 10 minutes.
Games, vendors, and live music will continue until 10 p.m. at the Aldergrove Athletic Park.

Sunday, July 21, is the third and final day of the fair, which will feature all the same activities until 4 p.m.
The dog agility show will take place at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. again, which involves pups of all sizes completing an obstacle course, and will feature Aldergrove trainer Jessie Lawson.
A cupcake contest for kids is also being held again on Sunday.
Also returning are military vehicle exhibits, various vendor booths, a beverage garden, food trucks, pony rides, and a plane display by the Canadian Museum of Flight.
In addition to the vendor booths, there is a "community corner" for local organizations where the public has access to information or ask questions about them including Aldergrove Community Garden, Kindred Farm Sanctuary, Aldergrove Lions Club, Alder Grove Heritage Society, Aldergrove Heritage Hall, and many others.
