91Ô´´ Township is doing road maintenance on some major local roads, which will result in single-lane alternating traffic for several days in January.
Work on 232 Street between 72 Avenue and Rawlison Crescent, and on Rawlison between 232 Street and its 23500 block, was scheduled to begin on Jan. 8 and continue to Jan. 17, with crews on scene between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Then 48 Avenue was to see work between Old Yale Road and 217A Street, and on 216 Street from 44 Avenue to the 4600 block, from Jan. 13 to 24, again from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On busy 16 Avenue, work was planned between 227 Street and 252 Street, with work set to begin on Jan. 14 and run to Jan. 20. Crews were to be working 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In all three projects, traffic control workers were to be on site, and drivers were warned that there could be delays.
The projects are weather dependent, and could be delayed or extended if the weather was too bad for work to take place.
