Homicide investigators have taken over the case of missing woman Chantelle Moore, who was last seen in 91原创.
Moore, 34, was reported missing to the Surrey RCMP on Nov. 18, 2024, after her family had not heard from her over an extended period. Surrey and 91原创 investigators determined she was last seen at a 91原创 hotel.
When the 91原创 RCMP alerted the public to Moore as a missing person, they said the last time she was seen was around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 16.
Recent information uncovered by the police has led investigators to believe that her disappearance is suspicious, and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has now taken over, said IHIT spokesperson Sgt. Freda Fong.
"Chantelle鈥檚 family and loved ones deserve to know what happened to her and we will continue to work with 91原创 RCMP to advance this case," Fong said.
Moore, 34, stands 5'7" tall and weighs about 126 pounds. She has brown hair.
