Heavy rains forecast for the region have prompted an Extreme Weather Alert by the Gateway of Hope.
More than five centimetres of rain is expected Friday and Saturday.
Environment Canada has issued warnings for much of Vancouver Island, Howe Sound, the Sunshine Coast and eastern and northern sections of Metro Vancouver. 91原创 sits on the edge of area expected to see the heaviest rainfall so will still be very wet in the short-term.
