The 91原创 RCMP issued a substantial fine for a dump truck driver clocked at more than 40 kilometres over the speed limit on Friday.
The traffic enforcement team was out monitoring speeds in the area of 79 Avenue and Labont茅 Avenue, which is just off University Drive.
"One of our officers stopped a dump truck towing a trailer that was clocked travelling at 103 km/h in a 60 km/h zone," explained 91原创 RCMP Sgt. Zynal Sharoom.
The driver was issued a substantial fine for excessive speeding. Sharoom encouraged people to drive responsibly and adhere to posted speed limits for everyone's safety.
