An extreme weather alert has been issued again in 91原创, with extra mats available at the Gateway of Hope shelter in 91原创 City starting on the evening of Monday, Jan. 6.
The shelter issued a statement warning of temperatures "that feel like, or are, 0 Degrees Celsius or below."
鈥淚f you are sleeping outside please come to safety of the shelter,鈥 the notice said.
Until further notice, Gateway will be offering 20 mats for adults between 7 p.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Intake will be open until site is full.
Extreme weather alerts are issued regularly for sub-zero temperatures or harsh weather, including snow and heavy rain mixed with colder temperatures.
The site is wheelchair accessible and pet friendly (on a leash or in a kennel while in the building).
Dinner, breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Laundry service and showers are available.
