Single vehicle crash into a Walnut Grove restaurant occurred Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 21.
Around 12:45 p.m., the driver of a silver Honda CR-V drove over a parked motorcycle and bollard before crashing into the store front of Bubble World located in the mall of Walnut Grove Drive and 88th Avenue.
Local photographer Lois Phillips was in the area when the crash happened.
鈥滻 saw a bunch of people gathering and grabbed my camera,鈥 she told the 91原创 Advance Times.
Lois said an ambulance and fire truck were briefly on scene.
鈥淭he driver appears to not be injured,鈥 Phillips said.
Cpl. Zynal Sharoom with 91原创 RCMP said the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators and remained on scene.
鈥淚t was purely accidental, no malicious intent, purely an accident,鈥 Sharoom said.
He added that there are no injuries and the incident will go to ICBC claims.
Barry Li, owner of Bubble World, said the store will still remain open today for their regular hours until 11 p.m.
