One man was shot and wounded in a residential neighbourhood in 91原创 on the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 21.

At about 7:30 a.m., 91原创 RCMP received calls about gunshots heard in the 20100-block of 84th Avenue, according to Cpl. Zynal Sharoom.

The officers found a person at the scene suffering from what is believed to be a gunshot wound, said Sharoom.

The victim was taken to hospital.

Blood and medical debris left by first responders was visible on the edge of the road in the neighbourhood of townhouses, as police investigated the scene later in the morning.

It appeared the victim had been shot in or near the driveway of one of the homes. RCMP had covered the license plates of an SUV near the scene.

鈥淥fficers remain on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident but at this time there is no risk to the public,鈥� said Sharoom.
