With winter upon us, the Greater Vancouver Zoo is getting in the Christmas holiday spirit and bringing back its 鈥淎rctic Nights鈥 event next month for a second year.
Running much longer than last year's, the event is offered from Dec. 20 to 31 (except the 24 and 25) nightly from 4 to 9 p.m.
From illuminated animal silhouettes to winter storytelling, visitors will get to experience the northern landscape in their home town.

Tickets are $20, or $18 for members, and include a choice of hot chocolate, coffee, or tea and a special treat of s'mores or popcorn, and a ride on the winter-themed train around the zoo.
