Editor: What does it take to get voters engaged? Municipal elections are notorious for poor attendance, yet it is that level of government that affects our lives on a daily basis.

Canadian Foundation for Better Government invited certain candidates to speak but any could attend.

Editor: I urge everybody to get engaged in the municipal elections. In particular, if you are a new voter, get registered and get involved.

Editor: Where is the coverage of the City election and candidates? There is lots of coverage of the Township.

Brian Cameron is critical of a by-invitation-only all-candidates event with select hopefuls invited.

Editor: I have lived in Aldergrove for over 27 years and, like many residents in our community, was looking forward to our new recreation centre.

Editor: As we enter the 2018 municipal election cycle voters need to decide what they want and expect from our next mayor and council in the Township of 91原创.

Editor: When you think of Cloverdale you think of the Cloverdale Rodeo, the Christmas parade and many other longtime attractions that bring a small community close. Outsiders come to these events wanting to take in the wholesome, small community feel that Cloverdale brings.

Editor: So, okay, it鈥檚 warm and sunny summertime again and motorcycles are everywhere back on the road. That鈥檚 great!
