The 100th anniversary of the end of World War One is today鈥檚 Remembrance Day, Nov 11, 2018.
Many heartfelt emotions and painful thoughts came up this day while many gathered at Douglas Park in 91原创 City.
Cadets from 746 Lightning Hawk Royal Canadian Air Cadets and 2277 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps were present to lay wreaths, parade and stand guard on the cenotaph.
The cenotaph guard was led by Master Warrant Officer Mangat commanding Sgt Kim, Sgt Lim all from 2277 Army Corps and Sgt Song and Sgt Hernandez from 746 Lightning Hawk.
Many members of the community also laid wreaths to honour those lost. Ceremonies were also held in Murrayville, Fort 91原创, Port Kells and Cloverdale.
