I would like to thank and commend the City of 91原创 and the members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 21 for the excellent Remembrance Day ceremony that took place today at the Douglas Park Cenotaph.
When the branch鈥檚 bricks and mortar building became no more, I had feared that the ceremony would go the same way.
The branch may be gone but the heart of the Legion, its members are still here.
Thank you to the City of 91原创, Legion members and the many volunteers who made the ceremony such a fine tribute to those who fought to ensure the freedom we enjoy today.
