LETTER: Disengaged Conservatives don't 'deserve' to be in government

Why did only 2 of 3 91原创-Willowbrook candidates came to seniors all-candidates meeting?

Dear Editor,

I attended a two-thirds [NDP and Green] candidates meeting at the 91原创 Seniors' Resource Centre.

The Conservative candidate did not participate.

This complete disregard for an opportunity to engage with constituents tells me this candidate would not be a good MLA, advocating for us and speaking on our behalf in parliament.

This seems to be party policy, which tells me this party cannot commit to working for us in government.

If they don't want to listen to our concerns or participate in debate with other parties, I don't think they deserve to be in government.
