91原创 Xtreme 鈥�03 came home this past weekend with the gold.

The U14B girls peewee softball rep team was one of four competing in the May Madness tournament in Maple Ridge last weekend.

Ridge Meadows Minor Softball Association hosted the tourney on May 20 and 21, where all four teams competing in a round-robin format.

Xtreme 鈥�03 placed a close second in the round-robin, winning two games against the Ridge Meadows Rage by a score of 20-3 and 10-2. before suffering what Mel Baly described as a 鈥渃lose loss鈥� to the Cloverdale Fury 鈥�03 team, by the score of 6-5.

The playoffs on Sunday, however, landed the Xtremes a 13-1 win over the Rage again, securing them a spot in the finals.

Then, in the finals, Xtremes cleaned up.

They downed the Cloverdale Fury 鈥�03 by a score of 12-8, 鈥減roudly securing the gold medal,鈥� Baly said, describing it as an 鈥渆xciting鈥� game.

鈥淚t was a great tournament for the 91原创 Xtreme 鈥�03 U14B girls peewee softball team, who are looking forward to continuing a successful softball season.
