91原创鈥檚 two MLAs have both been named ministers as Premier Christy Clark establishes what is expected to be a short-lived provincial government.
Mary Polak, MLA for the 91原创 riding and previously the environment minister, has been named minister of health.
Rich Coleman of the 91原创 East riding was appointed minister of energy and mines. He will also continue to serve as deputy premier.
It鈥檚 uncertain if the ministers will stay in their positions for very long.
The Liberals won more seats than the NDP, but their 43 MLAs are not enough for a majority in the 87-seat B.C. Legislature.
The NDP, which won 41 seats, and the Green Party, which won three, have teamed up and aim to form a government.
Clark is expected to recall the legislature and deliver a throne speech, which she will most likely lose.
NDP leader John Horgan could then be called on to form a government.
