A fire at a vacant home partially closed off 91原创鈥檚 busy 200th Street during the morning rush hour Tuesday.
The fire broke out around 6 a.m. in a derelict home just north of 72nd Avenue.
Firefighters doused the flames, but their work required temporary closures to some of the northbound lanes.
The building was abandoned and no one was there when firefighters arrived, said assistant 91原创 Township fire chief Russ Jenkins.
鈥淚t looked like there had been some homeless activity,鈥 Jenkins said.
The fire is considered suspicious, as there was no gas or electricity connected to the home that could have started the fire.
A fire investigator was on scene Tuesday morning looking into the precise cause.
